What is cross-sell?
A cross-sell is a sale of a different, related product to a customer who is already buying from you, typically something used with what they ordered. Cross-selling is one of the main ways distributors grow sales within existing accounts.
Cross-sell example
“Need cutting oil or a spare chuck key with those?” an inside rep asks a customer ordering a case of drill bits.
