Proton Order Management is a coming-soon module that will let your team place an order in one system and route each line to the ERP and branch that fills it. It is built for distributors that run more than one ERP, often after an acquisition, and don’t want to merge them.
No. Each business keeps its own ERP as its system of record. Proton connects to any ERP, or several at once, and our in-house engineers build the integration. Order Management will send each line of an order to the ERP that fills it.
You do. Proton will weigh cost, the customer’s need-by date, terms and shipping against your business rules, such as which ERP takes which product lines and when a line can be split or held. A line that doesn’t fit a rule goes to your team instead of an ERP.
Yes. The same order layer will work behind Proton CRM and your website, so an order placed there is routed by the same rules as one entered by your team.
Quote & Order Entry Automation turns an emailed PO or RFQ into a draft quote or order for your team to approve. Order Management will decide how that order is filled, so once it’s approved it can go to the right ERPs and branches without being keyed into each one.
