What is line card?

A line card is a distributor’s list of the manufacturers and brands it sells, typically shown as a page of logos. Reps hand it to customers to show what they can supply, and manufacturers read it to see which competing lines the distributor carries.

Line card example

Reading the line card a rep left behind, a plant’s maintenance manager notices a pump brand he didn’t know the distributor carried.
